Very interesting article on the state of the publishing industry...

Specifically in how it applies to technical books.  It's stunning how low the total unit sales are for a typical technical book now days.

There used to be brick and mortar technical bookstores in my area, but most of them have closed.

I buy most of my books online now. At O'Reilly, Packet, or at OpAmp (http://opamp.com), which does actually have a storefront if you want to peruse.
